ADAM, LEE, & THE TEAM WELCOME YOU TO THE TEMPLE INN
The Temple Inn has been trading in Temple Cloud since the 17th Century and following a major renovation by Red Oak Taverns in 2017. From October 2020 it has re-opened its doors with new owners Adam & Lee, returning a quality village pub back to its community. With an outstanding kitchen and ten contemporary and comfortable en-suite rooms, the Temple Inn is now firmly back in business!
Food & Drink
We pride ourselves on serving contemporary pub favourites and mouth-watering daily specials using exceptional local produce.
We love to work with nature and follow the seasonal flow of produce closely, capturing ingredients at their very best whilst ensuring we are as sustainable as possible. We work with fishmonger Wings Of St. Maws, alongside a selection of Somerset family butchers including Cam Valley Foods and P&K Meats, who are all passionate about providing premium dairy & meats working in harmony with local farms including Arthur David & RD Johns.
Our great kitchen team demonstrate just how good West Country food can be so join us throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday.
Rooms
Come and stay in one of our ten purposely built and individually styled bedrooms situated adjacent to the pub. Providing a simple, tasteful elegance, all rooms have been designed to a high standard to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Perfect overnight stay
"Just had a wonderful stay at this lovely village pub with rooms on our way back home from Cornwall. Rooms are modern and comfortable with everything you need for an overnight stay. We had dinner in the pub which was amazing - tasty and plentiful. Breakfast in the morning again was perfect - lots of choice and served piping hot. The staff and owners are friendly and provide excellent service. Would not hesitate to stay here again - just wish it was in our village!!"

Amazing stay!
"Wow! This is a little hidden gem! The moment we walked in the staff were super friendly, attentive and nothing was to much, even with a full pub due to the football being on. Much appreciated! We had dinner, drinks and breakfast the food was incredible which was delicious. The room we stayed in were super modern, clean and comfortable, again great!

Fabulous holiday find
"We were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem while on holiday. All of our party's meals were delicious and the customer service was outstanding with lots of personal recommendations and the ability to adapt dishes. The team couldn't do enough for us - we're only gutted that this isn't our local and is nearly 200 miles from us so we can't pop back!
